Piece of cake.

Cannon is truly my chocolate cake. He is the one stuck in the middle and he deserves this blog all to himself. He loves it when he gets to be with me and Corey alone, without another sibling taking any of his attention. There is nothing he loves better than a hug, well, maybe candy or a popsicle. His thing right now is to say "let me push you down Mama" which means I need to sit on the floor and he pushes me onto my back. Next, he jumps on top of me ( he feels like a cinder block) and hugs me saying "I miss you Mama, I miss you." He is with me all day everyday so, I'm not sure why he is missing me so much but, I'll take it! He is the loving, cuddly child. He can snuggle with the best of them. I often tell Corey that I don't think the other ones will ever love us like Cannon does. He is also the one that if there is a way to get hurt he will find it. Corey and I have seriously considered a helmet for him. He gets hurt ALL THE TIME. He is the funny one. At times he is hilarious in a Chris Farley kind of way. My dad always says "what Cannon lacks in grace he makes up for with enthusiasm." And oh, that smile. The kind of smile that melts your heart. The kind of smile that even when he has just dumped his drink over because he decided to dance at the table makes you smile and even laugh at a time when he needs to be corrected. Corey and I often look at each other and try to tame our smiles as Cannon puts all his butter beans in his mouth at one time. If you know Cannon, you will read this and look at the pictures and say yep, that is Cannon!

"Mama, I want to pee pee outside." "Okay Cannon." "No Cannon, not in the flowers. Pee pee off the deck!"

"Good job buddy!"
