Whiney, Whiney.

A few weeks ago it became VERY obvious that Cannon was in that lovely 2 1/2 years old stage of whining. Maybe it isn't a stage for every 2 1/2 year old but, it makes me feel better to think they all do this. Cannon USED to wake up so happy. You could go and aggravate him while he was sleeping in hopes of waking him up and he would just smile and laugh with his eyes still closed. Now, he whines and groans most mornings just because his eyes opened. I don't get it, some days he wakes happy, some days he wakes up a grump. Funny how the sounds of your children waking up lets you know what kind of morning is in store for you. I don't even know how many times a day I say "Cannon, stop whining and say it in a normal voice so I can understand you." So, I sure hope this fun and lovely stage doesn't last too long. Don't get me wrong, he is still the same ol' Cannon but, whew, he really mixes in a lot of whining. I'm ready to have my happy, funny, laughing, carefree Cannon back without the whiney voice. I'm ready for some chocolate cake!

The look we see a lot these days. Still a cutie even with that pout!
This is Funny Cannon who decided it would be hilarious to run around the house with a plunger on his head. Funny, yes. Gross, definitely. I'd like to say it had been bleached before this event but, no. He got a long talk from a laughing mama about what had been on that thing. The fact doo-doo had been on it made it even funnier to Cannon!
