Cade Lee couldn't be any happier. The day after Christmas I said, "Cade, Christmas is over." He said, "No, Mama, it can't be because it hasn't even snowed." He was mad. He said that it is always supposed to snow at Christmas. I explained he has a few more months of winter and the possibility of getting snow. Cade was thrilled this morning to see the surprise and this was Cannon and Landry's first time seeing snow. Cannon was as excited as he was Christmas morning. Landry loved being pulled in the sled but, she wasn't crazy about walking around in it. She seemed a little scared. The boys had lots of fun. They loved snow cream, sledding, and going down the slides on their bellies into the snow. Cade said, "There is nothing better than snow!" I asked, "What about a pool on a hot summer day?" He said, "No way, snow is way better. The only problem is that it makes you wet and a little bit cold." I loved drying the floor and all the wet layers of clothes to dry after three trips outside (please excuse the sarcasm). I really didn't mind it too much since snow around here is few and far between.
