We finally got to see Corey. We drove up to Maryland for the weekend to see him. Waldorf, Maryland is as close as his team comes to us so we made the 41/2 hour drive. As we were getting closer to the hotel. Cannon unbuckled his seat belt about five minutes too early. Cade said, "Cannon you can't unbuckle yet." Cannon said, "I am just getting ready so I can hug Daddy." The games were hard with the three kids. They found the games to be a little boring. I spent most of the games at the play area (which was awesome). I also spent the whole time being on the look out for the team mascot. Landry and Cannon were terrified of the Blue Crab that looks like a Blue Monster. The boys loved going in the locker room. They thought is was hilarious to see all those "butt cracks". Just ask them. They will tell you all about it! The hotel room was a challenge. Landry has never laid in a bed and tried to go to sleep. The result is she now wants to lay in our bed at home to go to sleep every night. Lovely. We also were able to visit with our friends the Gallaghers who live in Waldorf. Corey played with Shawn way back in the Texas Ranger days. The boys loved playing at their house with their daughter Makayla. We had fun and like always the weekend went way too fast.
