granny ila.

There are only a few women I know that are as fine of a lady as my Granny Ila. The fact is that as a woman and mother all you could ever hope for is to be revered the way she was and still is. She was a woman of God, a virtuous woman with a kind, soft spirit. A woman who didn't spend her life running up and down the roads, filling her life with distractions as most of us do. She was simple, she made a difference from her home the way we should all make a difference. She spent time in God's word and provided an amazing example of how we women should be if we are living our lives according to God's word.
Granny Ila made me this beautiful coat and hat that I wore when I was two. Now my little Landry Lee can wear it. I hope that Landry inherited some of her meek, mild, and sweet spirit just as she inherited this sweet little coat and hat.

You choose the caption for the next picture.

A. "Really, Mama? Really?"
B. "Take the freakin' picture."
C. "You have got to be freakin' kidding me with this."
D. "Big whooptie poop that this was your coat."

Wonderful memories of your granny! What you said reminded me of what we studied in our couples Bible study. She really did LIVE it!

And I think I'll go with option B for the caption.
:-)

love you,
dad
