Cade sometimes starts this routine at bedtime of "setting up" the stuffed animals for bed. This doesn't happen every night thank goodness but, it happened tonight. This can be a lengthy process. Cade always begins by saying that he wants to pass out the animals to him and Cannon. Cade's next intentional move is to give Cannon the animals he doesn't particularly care for that night. All the while he makes sure that he ends up with more that Cannon. Luckily, Cannon didn't care tonight because if it does matter to him for some reason the result is a fight over who gets what. That is always fun. Cade's every placement is very precise and calculated. He steps back to decide the best spot for each animal. He puts them beside fellow animals that they would like or get along with. He then puts most of them on their side so they can sleep. He also covers up most of the animals with his covers. The snake goes under a pillow as if it were a rock. Two animals stay on the floor to protect the other animals. Whew! There is a lot of thinking that goes into every move. It is like watching a chess match. Tonight, once Cade had everything is his bed exactly right he said, "Cannon do you want me to fix your animals for you?" Cannon said, "No Cade." Cade, who was obviously bothered by the sight on Cannon's bed asked nicely again, "Cannon, can I fix your animals like I did mine?" Cannon again said, "No Cade. I want mine like this." Cannon's animals were in a pile. No order. No thought. So different!

That is so funny. I can't wait to see how Cole and Ella will be different from each other. I love your new picture at the top. It is too cute.
