Backseat Conversation.

Cade was looking out the window in the back of the car and I asked, "Cade, what are you thinking about?" He said,"I was just thinking about when you and Daddy got married." I said, "Oh, you were. What about it?" Cade said, "I don't know, I was just thinking." Cade asked, "Was I in you belly when you got married? I said "No Cade. God was still making you." He began to insist that he was in my belly. After a few exchanges between Cade and I about where he was when Corey and I got married, Cannon said," I want to go to Mary's house. I want to get Mary." Cade began to laugh and said, "No Cannon, not Mary we are talking about getting married." So then the conversation begins between the two boys...

Cade: Cannon, one day when we are bigger and taller and older we are going to have girlfriends. It will be fun. They can come over to our house and we can play. We can go down the slide and we can swing and we can play tag.
Cannon: I don't want a girlfriend. I don't want to play with girls.
Cade: Well, My girlfriend is going to be the grape juice girl. (from the Welch's commercials....high standards already!) Cannon, who is going to be your girlfriend?
Cannon: Nobody. I don't want a girlfriend.
Cade: Oh, I know Cannon, your girlfriend can be Kyli, that girl from the beach. Do you remember her?
Cannon: I don't want to play with no girls Cade. (whining at this point).
