Ten things I love about my lil' girl.

1. The way she loves her purple blanket. She can't sleep without it and nothing makes her happier when she is tired than getting her blanket. She has recently started sucking the silk trim on her blanket at night so, she has has replaced one habit for another, the pacifier for the blanket.

2. The way she loves her babies. She is crazy about her babies. She tries to give them her bottle and hugs and kisses them. I guess the amazing part to me is how this is apparently innate. It wasn't taught. Nature, not nurture in this case.

3. When I am holding her, she leans over completely sideways in front of me and turns her head up to me to "get in my face" and get my attention. She always says "hey" when she does this. So cute. She always "gets in your face" with her heads cocked sideways to get your attention whether you are holding her or not.

4. The way she will grab a paper towel and bend over to wipe something off the floor. I guess because she sees me doing this all the time. How cute. She is helping me clean, she thinks.

5. Whenever I put on hand sanitizer or wash my hands I look at her and she is pretending to scrub her little hands also.

6. Every time I park the car and go to get her out both shoes are off and I have to begin scouring the car for the two sock she threw. I have learned to put her in the car barefoot.

7. The way she rough, tough and wide open. She is full of energy and always on the go. I never know where I will find her if I turn away for one second. On the playground last week, I was helping Cade and Cannon climb the rock wall and turned to see her going down the slide on her belly head first. She can also withstand a body slam from Cannon without any tears. She is a lot tougher than the boys were at her age.

8. Her friendliness. I am not used to the attention she gets. Everywhere we go she says "Hey" to nearly everyone we pass by. I often look up and see people waving and speaking to her because she is waving so hard to them and demanding their attention. She makes the typically reserved and quiet girl I am do a lot more of speaking than I would normally do. Thanks for making me friendlier Landry.

9. The way she always call for her Daddy. All day long she says, "Hey, da da." These are the only two words she puts together. Sweet, huh? Corey loves it.

10. I love her persistence. She will not let up when she is told no. She keeps at it no matter what you say to her. When she tries to go up the steps we tell her no and her feelings get hurt but she still tries moving the gate and squeezing herself past it to get upstairs. I know that some might see this as a negative characteristic but, I think it is a great way to be (when directed the right way).

Landry, you are a precious, little girl. I love you!
