Fun in Connecticut.

Cade said the other day, "How many kids have had as much fun as me today?" He then answers his own question with, "NONE!" We all are having a great time here. Lots to do. The kids swim in the pool out back every day and we usually walk to the beach. The water temperature takes some getting used to. People from here claim it is warm. Trust us...it is not. The neighborhood has a "children's association" that schedules cool things for the kids once a week. They are having a magician Thursday which Cade is really excited about. The "Casino" where they hold kids activities is open nightly where there is duck pin bowling for the kids. The boys love doing that. The parks are also awesome, so awesome that it will cause a three year old to poop his pants. Poop so much in fact that we threw his blue crocs and underwear away and he had to wear his t-shirt and his little sister's diaper for the rest of the time there. We also had fun with another players wife and daughter who is Landry's age at the children's museum. The biggest problem had been the fact it has rained everyday we have been here at some point except for maybe 2 days. The other issue I was having is the that the house has no air conditioning which is fine while there is a breeze and it isn't too hot. Most people here don't have air conditioning due to the typical weather and the fact that you have an ocean breeze. But there have been a few days where it feels like 110 degrees with 100 o/o humidity. A hot humid house has a way of turning me into a "you know what". Lucky for Corey and the kids there were only a few days like that. The kids love going to the games. Landry is terrified of the mascot (BB the Bluefish) and Cannon gave him five the other day which was a big deal since he hid between my legs when BB was close by when we first got here. The boys go in the locker room after the games and leave little Landry wondering why she can't go in. Cannon said "Yandry , girls can't go in 'cause there are lots of ding dongs in there." I said, "Yep, Landry, that is why you have to stay with me sweet girl." So, I'm not sure when we will head back to NC since they are having so much fun. Maybe we will stay another week or so.....
