perspective.

I have learned that it is all in your perspective. You see, my kids were crawling around in Angela's new van and admiring all its features. It was like a fun house for my three. When we got in our own car to come home and the conversation went like this...

Cade: When are you ever going to get a new car? LaLa has had her black car, her grey car and now her white van. We haven't got a new one.
Cannon: Yeh, we want a cool car.
Me: Really. Our car isn't cool?
Cade: No. We need one that has shades in the windows.
Cannon: And a table to play games on.
Cade: And seats that can turn around whenever we need to.
Me: So you all would like it if Mama had a minivan.
Boys: Yeh!
Cade: That would be way better because our car isn't cool at all.

Perspective. Some Mama's have a "hang up" about minivans. Some don't. Angela was one that used to have a "hang up" until getting one. She thought the kids wouldn't like it and she just knew she wouldn't like it.  Little did she know that they would think it is the coolest car in the world. So now if we go somewhere together all the kids want to ride with her. So I grab their carseats as fast as I can and put them in the van. It is a shame that they don't want to ride with me. Such a shame. I am so lonely in my quiet car listening to my own music and laughing to myself at how her car must sound. Ho hum. Poor me.

So glad I could be of service...you forgot to add the part that when they all ride with me that it takes you an hour to get here even though we leave at the same time!! :)
