Cade played t-ball this spring with the Braves. He had more fun this time than last year mainly because he was playing in a league with kids that he knows from school. Cade's coach was great and they all improved so much. He liked being the "pitcher" (fielding ground balls from the pitchers mound) and he hit pretty well. He also enjoyed showing off his speed at times. Most importantly he had fun. We knew that once he played with kids he knew it would be fun for him. They finished the season Saturday with trophies and a cookout after the game. Cade's coach was nice enough to let Cannon go out on the field when Corey was there helping during the game. Cannon wore his t-ball uniform every game in case someone wasn't there and they needed him to hit (this is what he said). Cannon was broken hearted to say the least when he didn't receive a trophy. I told him ahead of time that he wouldn't get one but he said he thought they might have an extra one for him. Cade was nice enough to let his crushed little brother hold his trophy for a little while. Thanks to all our family who came to see him play.
