There is this little boy in my house that can be the sweetest child ever. The other day I heard him running back and forth from the dryer to the living room only to find that he was folding a whole load of towels and wash cloths and then put them up where they belong. He had folded them beautifully I must say. At that moment, Cannon Lee was my favorite child. Maybe he was trying to redeem himself from an event that occurred the day prior. He wasn't my favorite child the day before when he ran up to me saying, "Wipe." He was bent over as if he had just pooped and was ready to be cleaned. The problem was he hadn't been in a bathroom. I asked, "Umm, Cannon, where did you poop?" He quickly said, "Ah, Ah, upstairs." I asked "Upstairs where?" He said, "In the bathroom Mama. Mama? Do you want the truth?" I replied, "Yes, Cannon I do." "Well, I did it outside on the deck." he admitted. I yelled, "What Cannon?!" I walked over to the back door to see that that was in fact the truth. Right there on the deck. Right there beside the door mat at the back door. Done for no other reason than "just because" and "it was funny". Lesson learned: It is no fun cleaning up your own poop. Especially steamy, smelly poop on a hot day. I must admit I was secretly laughing as he gagged cleaning up his own poop. That'll teach him...I hope.
