Poop.

Nothing will clear out a bathtub faster than the words "Oh no, she just pooped in the water!" That is right, I said she! Landry definitely threw her ladylike manners right out the door for this one....

I was getting all three in the tub after dinner as usual. No one has been scrubbed yet, the three were just playing. In fact, I had called for Corey to come up to video Landry in the tub because she was sticking her head under just like the boys and coming up laughing. So, Corey is video taping and Landry stands up while the boys are arguing about who is in who's spot in the tub. I say, "Oh Lord, she is making a face like she is getting ready to doo-doo." Yep, I said that and had a delayed reaction. A quick, normal reaction would be to grab her quick, no not me. I sat there for a second until Corey said," Get her out!" As I'm picking her up, I see the job is complete and floating. No small job either, not even a normal size, it was A LOT. Corey then said," Put her on the toilet." So, not thinking on either of our parts, I begin to and realize she is 10 months old and not quite able to poop on the toilet. I said,"I can't sit her on the toilet Corey." Meanwhile, in the act of me placing her on the toilet I got doo-doo all over the toilet seat. I look over at Cade and Cannon who have yet to realize what is going on. They are much too involved in working out who sits where. I said,"Cade and Cannon get out FAST Landry stinkied in the tub!" Well, they both stand up and look down and amidst the toys and their feet is a large doo-doo. Cade begins to gag (he is the kid who threw up when he saw fake snot). I knew he might throw up and told him to get out before he did. Corey decides maybe this is a good time to turn off the camera. He grabs Cade and gets him out of the bathroom. I stand Landry by the tub which she holds onto in order for me to get Cannon out. Cannon's response is loud laughter and "I want to see it." I said, "Cannon you saw it when it was right by your foot." Or better yet, he could have just looked down on the floor because she had done more on the rug while standing by the tub. And you know she then had to stomp and squish in it before I could get Cannon out of the room. Cannon hollers from the hall that he wants to see it again. One is gagging, one wants to see more and one is nasty with doo-doo. I scoop out the doo-doo and get Landry back in the tub as the water is draining in order for me to get the dirty rug up and this is when she decides to do her face in the water trick. Bad timing Landry. Gross. I get the tub drained, the toys out and stand Landry under the water to scrub her. I then begin to bleach the tub and toys before Cade and Cannon can get back in the tub. Here's to a less eventful bath time tomorrow and to only finding baby poop in diapers!

The way bath time was intended to be... fun and poop-free.
